
Scott Brady, CFP® has worked full time in the financial planning industry since 2004. After graduating from Loyola College in Maryland with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration (specialization in finance), Scott immediately obtained his necessary licenses and began working with Associated Financial Planners, LLC. He earned his CFP® designation in 2007, completing the necessary course requirements through Boston University’s Center for Professional Education.
Scott began with the firm from the ground up, working with existing clients and running the operations of the firm, while at the same time working with his own clients. Since purchasing the firm in 2010, Scott continues to work daily with clients on their financial plans, while also managing and overseeing the continual development of Associated Financial Planners, LLC. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Scott upholds a highly recognized standard of excellence for ethical and competent personal financial planning.
Along with his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, Scott holds a Series 7 General Securities Representative, Series 63 Uniform Securities State Law, Series 24 General Securities Principal license. He holds insurance producer licenses for Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and Annuities in NJ and several other states. Scott has been a member of the Financial Planning Association since 2006.
Outside of AFP, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and most importantly, giving back. Scott helped found, and now runs with others, the Carmie Brady Foundation, Inc., which raises money for local families who have children suffering from serious illnesses. Scott was also an assistant wrestling coach at Pt. Pleasant Boro High School for 10+ years and continues to volunteer with the wrestling program at all levels, when time allows. Scott is a 2016 inductee to the Pt Pleasant Hall of Fame.
